The writing is gorgeous in this, friend. You paint every scene in such vivid detail for so few words.

I'm kinda glad my parents didn't really take us to church. We went to a Chinese Methodist church for a little bit before my siblings were born. It was very singy from what I recall but I never sat through a full service as I was in the Sunday school with the other kids.
