Grad school shenanigans.

I officially took the GRE this morning, which puts me one step closer to attaining another useless art degree! (Or, well, a degree in the arts, anyway.) I did better than I expected, particularly considering I didn't study at all like a lazy idiot.
Next up: get together a list of journals and contests I want to enter/submit to so that I can start padding my writing resumé with some official shit instead of just being like, "Well fan fiction..." and hope that I can finagle at least a personalized rejection letter before I start applying to programs next year! Aw yeah!

What schools are you looking at? I'm presuming that you're wanting to go for an MFA?

I haven't decided 100% yet. I'm looking into MA's first on the recommendation of the professor that teaches a couple of poetry classes I've taken, because she advised that stacking an MA underneath an MFA might yield me more funding, which will be the make or break factor in whether I go or not, haha.
Texas Tech has a poetry concentration in their composition & rhetoric program that's been recommended to me and there's apparently a professor on staff there who folks in the know think I would really get on with as an advisor, so I've got them on my list, but I'm also looking at Arizona State University and a few other places across the country near where I have family that have promising MAs, too.
