this is kind of a weird tv show/book series mash-up, written for the "secret twins/doppelgänger" square on my trope_bingo card because, come on, that 'through the looking glass' ep was practically screaming to be exploited for nefarious fan fiction purposes. if this alec seems more emotive than the alec on the show, it's because i've hybridized parts of his personality with book!alec.
