Most of this is borne out of the Band of Brothers AU that I'm casually pretending not to work on even while I obsess over it, and as such the majority of assembled information re: epilepsy and the treatment thereof will focus on the early-mid 1900s. This post is half so I won't lose the references myself, and half because someone else out there might find the information useful!
