Hello there, writer!
This is just a quick message to, first of all, thank you for participating in the Heavy Artillery Rare Pair Exchange—I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT IT—and to give you a little bit further guidance about what I'm hoping to receive from this exchange. All of my prompts are fairly malleable, so long as they don't include anything off my list of DNWs. I'm more concerned with the main characters/pairings than your strict adherence to whatever dumb concept I came up with while filling out the sign-up form.
As stated in my requests, my DNWs include: Modern AUs, character death, graphic depictions of torture/injury, A/B/O, mpreg, scat/watersports, slave!fic, infidelity, treating female characters as villains or malicious hindrances to queer male romance, and Speirton. Pretty much everything else is fair game.
I'm perfectly willing to roll with a like, robot AU or a werewolf AU or a soul-mate AU or whatever, so long as it's still within the canon time period. (Think steampunk or retro-futurism, yeah?) I really like stories about people getting together for the first time, and double-bonus if they're figuring out their sexuality/identity as they go, whether that involves gender-play or BDSM or is a good old-fashioned vanilla "holy shit I'm gay" realization. I'm also very here for these characters establishing queer communities and welcome ensemble casts of characters, both canon and original, to make that happen. I don't really require gratuitous porn, and would generally prefer a story focusing on other aspects of a character's relationships, though I'm not opposed if porn is a thing you're really hankering to write.
Since I'm moderating this exchange and hand-matching, I will know who you are and you will know who I am so please feel free to reach out to me with questions if you need clarification. There's no mystery for the wicked, I suppose, but I'm really looking forward to it anyway.
