Delightful things I’ve learned about Lewis Nixon since starting to read Band of Brothers:

• Almost immediately described as flamboyant
• Is apparently strictly anti-jock (enemies-to-lovers college AU, anybody?)
• Once got so shitty off a bottle of schnapps (Of all things! What, was there no Arbor Mist around?) that it was worth mentioning in a historical record of wartime shenanigans

I’m mostly checking the book out as a general period reference rather than as a character-specific resource, since I’m trying to maintain a pretty hardline distinction between the characters in the show and the actual folks just for my own sanity, but I have to say, it sounds like Nixon was a Very Interesting Person.
