Candy Hearts Exchange Letter 2023

Hello, Anonymous Creator!
If you've participated in any event I've also participated in before, there's a non-zero chance you may have seen some iteration of this letter, which features a couple of general lists of my favorite tropes and my DNW’s for easy perusal, with fandom- and pairing-specific requests underneath.
Alright! Now let’s get on the fandom specific requests, shall we? I’m pretty open to whatever at the end of the day, so long as enough legwork/worldbuilding/character development has been done to make me believe that a certain scenario would actually happen. (Spoiler alert: "enough," in this instance, can be pretty simple and hand-wavey.) Feel free to use the below as guidelines more than strict rules, with the caveat being that I really don't like modern AUs for any period stuff. Period AUs that incorporate magic or other tropes are fine, as are period AUs of modern properties. Essentially: you can send characters back in time or forward in time, but I'd prefer not to read about them in a setting that looks the same as our real life everyday unless that's where they are in canon.
I hope this is enough to at least get you started! If you'd like to peek at any of the previous letters I've written for this and other exchanges (which will be more of the same you've seen here), you can check out my "letters to nonny" tag. Likewise, I'm always happy to answer questions if you can think of a way to get them to me that won't put your anonymity at risk.
Happy creating!

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015)
Illya Kuryakin/Napoleon Solo/Gaby Teller or Illya Kuryakin/Napoleon Solo: I'm such a sucker for this throuple, sincerely. I would love a getting-together fic, or perhaps one where they're all three dating but one or more of them are convinced they can't be because it's not the Done Thing TM. I enjoy a little good old-fashioned period typical repression and seeing characters work through it, though I'd prefer every party involved not be uptight and repressed. I'm not usually a huge fan of dynamic AUs (sub/dom stuff where it's a biological imperative) but I think Illya's character would be extremely interesting to explore through that lens, as someone who desperately needs to let go but has locked it down so hard that it's building pressure like a volcanic vent.
For art: I would love to see the three of them dolled up, whether on a date or infiltrating a gala. The costumes in this film were one of my favorite parts so give me more of that good, good sartorial eye candy!Community
Abed Nadir/Jeff Winger: Listen, I love a little May/December romance (although this one is more like May/August), and the dynamic between Jeff and Abed is so interesting to me, I'd love to see it explored through this lens. Extra points for Jeff willfully fighting his attraction because he's fought so hard to cultivate this persona of a womanizing man's man and he can't let that go, and double extra points if part of that struggle involves him thinking he ought to know everything about himself by now and that he can't suddenly be attracted to another man because it's never happened before. I am fully enamored of the whole ensemble in this show and would welcome appearances by basically any other characters you care to include, so long as they aren't legitimate romantic interests for either Jeff or Abed. (Ex: Jeff suddenly making hard passes at Annie and Britta who are 0% interested because he's trying to outrun his feelings for Abed is fine.)
For art: I would love a movie poster pastiche, but honestly, wherever your heart takes you is good.Silicon Valley
Jared Dunn/Richard Hendricks: Listen, there are characters you're attracted to for a variety of reasons, and then there are characters you want to stick under a microscope and study like bugs. Jared and Richard definitely fall into the latter category for me. There's something so weirdly and wildly compelling about the way their neuroses are so perfectly complementary. I don't feel like their relationship would necessarily be a healthy one, but damn if it wouldn't be interesting! I would love some canon AU stuff, where maybe Pied Piper doesn't go quite the way it does in the show, or maybe Jared enters Richard's life in a different capacity. I think the tone of Silicon Valley would be perfect for one of the sillier popular fanon tropes out there, like someone desperate for human contact who has a hard time connecting hiring a professional hugger and it becoming a scandal so they have to pretend to date or something.
For art: I would love something sweet, or perhaps a nerdy crossover. Maybe they're having breakfast together before work! Maybe they're in the guises of their D&D characters or favorite videogame characters, wreaking havoc! I welcome it all.
